The Prelate Of The Western Prelacy Presides Over The Opening Of Homenetmen Western U.S. Regional Executives “Victory Ball”

HOMENETMEN’S ESSENCE, MOTTO, AND OPERATION”

On the evening of Saturday, June 29, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, accompanied by Archpriest Father Razmig Khatchadourian, attended the 47th Navasartian Games and Festival traditional Victory Ball organized by Homenetmen Western U.S. Regional Executive. The Victory Ball this year took place at the prestigious Beverly Hilton.

H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian led the opening prayer at the Victory Ball and commended the national, scouting, and athletic endeavors of the Armenian General Athletic Union (Homenetmen), as well as the various programs and activities of Homenetmen Western U.S. Region, including the annual Navasartian Games and Festival that continue a longstanding tradition. In his opening address, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian conveyed his sincere congratulations to all the participants, organizers, parents, volunteers, benefactors, and the entire community for their involvement, contributions, and support of the 47th Navasartian games organized by Homenetmen Western U.S. Region Executive.

During his address, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian conveyed “The name of this event, “Victory Ball,” was not chosen by coincidence, as victory has always been a central theme, and a defining characteristic, of this honorable athletic union, Homenetmen, since its inception. The spirit of victory forms the fundamental principle and core of Homenetmen’s essence, motto, and pan-Armenian mission worldwide.” H.E. Archbishop Khacherian expressed his appreciation to the honorary presidents of the Homenetmen 47th Navasartian Games and Festival, Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Evelina Sarian, for their ongoing support and commitment to various projects and initiatives within the Western Prelacy. The Prelate also commended Mr. Aram Bekerian for being recognized as this year’s exemplary member of Homenetmen in the Western U.S. Region, and extended his well wishes to all attendees, including members and supporters of Homenetmen, wishing them good health, so they can continue to bring their moral and financial support and contributions, to ensure the advancement and success of the national, spiritual, and organizational programs and initiatives of the Western United States Region.
