On the evening of Monday, July 8, 2024, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, received a congratulatory visit from the newly elected ARF Western United States Central Committee, headed by the Chairman of the Central Committee Mr. Garo Madenlian.
After exchanging congratulatory wishes between the Prelate and the Central Committee members, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian expressed his sincere well-wishes for success to the Central Committee members, for their upcoming term, in their mission, various activities and initiatives.
Mr. Vahe Hovaguimian, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy, on behalf of the Executive Council, extended a warm welcome to the ARF Central Committee members, to the Western Prelacy, the spiritual home of our community and nation.
The meeting focused on discussions regarding the current state and challenges encountered by our homeland and diaspora, with particular emphasis being placed on the educational, spiritual, national, and pan-Armenian opportunities accessible to the Armenian community in California.
H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian conveyed his contentment with the efforts and steps taken to reinstate the communal livelihood in the most Armenian-populated region of the diaspora to its former state and emphasized the importance of moving forward together through cooperation, cohesion, mutual assistance, and a commitment to reconciliation. H.E. Archbishop Khacherian shared his fatherly recommendation that every organization and entity functioning within the community, in accordance with their respective mission, should pursue and invest in innovative and modern methods, mandated by the current times.
