The Prelate Presents A Letter Of Blessing And Commendation To Dr. Talin Kargodorian, Head Of School Of Vahan And Anoush Chamlian Armenian School

On Wednesday evening, August 12, 2026, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, presided over a surprise appreciation dinner honoring Dr. Talin Kargodorian, Head of School of Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School, in recognition of her distinguished leadership and the school’s achievement in receiving the prestigious U.S. National Blue Ribbon School honor.

The Prelate was accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian, Dean of St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church in Glendale. The intimate gathering, held at Vertigo Event Venue in Glendale, was organized by the School Board of Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School. Among those in attendance were representatives of the Glendale City Council, members of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy, members of the Board of Regents of Prelacy Armenian Schools, members of the St. Mary’s Church Board of Trustees, school administrators and staff, benefactors, and friends.

On this special occasion, Archbishop Khacherian presented a Letter of Blessing and Commendation to Dr. Kargodorian, recognizing her many years of dedicated service and accomplished leadership, which have contributed significantly to advancing Vahan and Anoush Chamlian Armenian School to new heights of academic and educational excellence. Throughout the evening, several guests also offered heartfelt remarks, expressing their deep appreciation for Dr. Kargodorian’s administrative and educational expertise, extensive experience, dedicated service, and exemplary leadership.

The surprise celebration also provided an opportunity for Dr. Kargodorian, whose distinguished professional career has been marked by significant achievements and devoted service to Armenian education, to express her heartfelt appreciation to the Prelate, the Executive Council, the dedicated and active governing bodies serving the greater Chamlian family, as well as the school’s benefactors, administration, faculty and staff, students, parents, and members of the community.
