On Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 6:00 PM, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, presided over, delivered a message and distributed diplomas at the year-end program of St. Mary’s Richard Tufenkian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten in Glendale. The year-end program, held at Glendale High School, brought together representatives of the Tufenkian founding benefactors family, parents, relatives, volunteers, and invited guests.
In a warm and festive atmosphere, the young students of St. Mary’s Richard Tufenkian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten charmed the audience with their performances. In his heartfelt remarks, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian expressed his sincere appreciation to the members of the Tufenkian family, the preschool’s leadership, teachers, and parents. The Prelate specifically highlighted the dedication and sacrifices made by parents and the trust they place in St. Mary’s Richard Tufenkian Preschool to provide their children with an Armenian education, recognizing the preschool years as the first and most important step in raising future graduates who are connected to their national identity, ensuring the growth and progress of our community.
At the conclusion of the program, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian extended his fatherly blessings and congratulations to all and personally presented the young graduates with the first diploma of their lives, filling the auditorium, and everyone’s hearts, with joy and pride.
