On the morning of Tuesday, May 25, 2021, Nelu Nedelia, Director of the Spiritual Care Unit at Adventist Health in Glendale, and Ramella Markarian, Vice President of Business Development and Strategies, visited the Western Prelacy to meet with the Prelate of the Western Prelacy, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan. Rev. Fr. Movses Shannakian, Pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Glendale, was present during the visit.
The visitors expressed their willingness to work closer with the Western Prelacy, while at the same time asking the Prelate to visit Adventist Health Glendale.
During the meeting, the Prelate praised the hospital administration and the staff, for providing extensive services to the people of the region and especially the Armenian people, and reminded the representatives that the Western Prelacy is ready to support the hospital by sending clergy on a regular basis to provide spiritual comfort to the sick, especially those Armenians who need spiritual peace and hope.
The representatives praised the Prelate’s proposals and support. They expressed their readiness to put in place the fastest and most appropriate means to further the cooperation between the hospital and the Western Prelacy.
