The Western Prelacy’s various activities and projects currently include the unique endeavor of constructing and renovating the Holy Archangels Church in Crescenta Valley to serve the spiritual needs of the Armenian community. A special committee, comprised of professionals specialized in this field is overseeing the renovation and redesigning of Holy Archangels Church to fit the motif of an Armenian Church, under the auspices and direct guidance of H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy. The success of this project can be attributed also to the very generous support of benefactors Mr. and Mrs. Varant and Hoori Melkonian, the encouragement of philanthropists, and benevolent community members.
We want to share that within this framework, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan continuously visits Holy Archangels Church to closely monitor the ongoing restoration efforts.
