With Faith and Valor Artsakh and Armenia will Triumph over Azerbaijan’s Latest Assault

By September 28, 2020June 18th, 2024No Comments

Just months after an escalation of Azeri aggression against Armenia, on Sunday, September 27, 2020, Azerbaijan launched a full-scale invasion along the entire border region of Artsakh, resulting in military and civilian casualties. Martial law has been declared in Armenia and Artsakh.

We strongly condemn this latest and all acts of Turkish-Azerbaijani aggression against Artsakh, Armenia, and Armenians throughout the Diaspora, and express our full solidarity to the governments of Armenia and Artsakh, armed forces and our compatriots. Furthermore, we expect for the international community to unequivocally condemn Turkish-Azeri hostilities and stand on the side of justice and in solidarity with the people of Artsakh who seek to live in peace on our ancestral lands.

On this occasion, by the ordinance of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, during Divine Liturgy on Sunday, September 27, “Der Voghormya” prayers were offered for the souls of our martyrs, healing for the injured, strength and protection to our valiant soldiers, and peace and stability for our people.

We will continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who were subject to attack on the feast of the Holy Cross of Varak, with the hope and confidence that we will prevail by the power and might of the Holy Cross.
