On Sunday, July 6, 2025, the 48th annual HMEM Navasartian Games concluded with a ceremonial parade of the organization’s athletic and scouting groups at Birmingham High School’s stadium. Archpriest Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian, Pastor of Holy Martyrs Armenian Apostolic Church in Encino, represented H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, who at the time was in Beirut, Lebanon due to urgent family matters.
By the Prelate’s ordinance, Archpriest Fr. Khatchadourian read the Pontifical Message of His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, dedicated to HMEM Western Region’s 48th Navasartian Games.
On Saturday evening, June 28, 2025, the HMEM Regional Executive hosted the “Victory Ball” for the 48th Navasartian Games at the grand ballroom of the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. During the Victory Ball, Archpriest Fr. Khatchadourian represented H.E. Archbishop Khacherian and delivered His Eminence’s message of blessing and appreciation, in which the Prelate praised the global mission of the Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, especially highlighting the pride of hosting the annual Navasartian Games in the Western Region and the importance of HMEM’s enduring role, effective service and impact in Armenian communities worldwide.
