On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, welcomed the acclaimed Armenian director Mr. Jivan Avetisyan to the Western Prelacy. In attendance were Rev. Fr. Karekin Bedourian, Pastor of Forty Martyrs Armenian Church in Orange County, Mr. Gevig Baghdasarian, member of the Executive Council and Mr. Garo Madenlian, Chairman of the Artsakh Arts and Cultural Foundation.
Mr. Avetisian received the blessing of the Bishop and informed him about the filming of his latest movie called “Revival,” dedicated to the 44-day war in Artsakh.
The Prelate highly commended the efforts of Mr. Avetisyan and on behalf of the Western Prelacy delivered a financial donation in favor of the implementation of the mentioned project.
At the conclusion of the visit, Bishop Donoyan appealed to the faithful of the Western Prelacy to show unconditional support towards the patriotic work of the director and his mission for the betterment of the nation.
