H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian Visits The New Aris And Angela Stambolian Center Of Hamazkayin Regional Executive

On Saturday, January 4, 2025, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, visited the newly established center of the Hamazkayin Western Region’s. The Prelate was accompanied by Mr. Mher Der Ohanessian, Vice-Chair of the Executive Council of the Western Prelacy. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the Hamazkayin Regional Executive and its benefactors, whose financial and moral support made the acquisition of the new property possible.

During his visit, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian emphasized the significance of preserving, promoting, and revitalizing the Armenian culture, particularly through the efforts of successive generations. The Prelate noted that such initiatives, with a renewed and modern approach, are crucial for the continued growth of the Armenian community.

H.E. Archbishop Khacherian also took the opportunity to praise the benefactors and, especially the main benefactors of the newly established Hamazkayin center, Mr. and Mrs. Aris and Angela Stambolian, after whom the new center is named. The Prelate also acknowledged the dedication of all members of the Hamazkayin family for their tireless commitment and service to the community, praising their efforts and the role they play in preserving and advancing the Western Armenian language and culture.

In his remarks, H.E. Archbishop Khacherian extended his fatherly blessings to the members of the Hamazkayin Western United States current and former Regional Executives and the many supporters in attendance who, through their financial and moral contributions, have helped ensure the continued success and expansion of Hamazkayin’s cultural initiatives in our community.

The Western Prelacy of the United States has also played a significant role over the past two years in supporting and contributing towards the purchase of the Hamazkayin Regional Executive Center.
