On Sunday, December 17, 2023, H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate of the Western Prelacy, presided over the New Year and Christmas program of Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten, which took place at the Pasadena Armenian Center on Washington Blvd. H.G. Bishop Donoyan was accompanied by Rev. Father Boghos Baltayan, Pastor of St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church of Pasadena. Present at the Christmas program were Mr. Hovig Ohanian, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Sarkis Tatikian, National Delegate and member of the Executive Council, parents, relatives, benefactors, and friends.
Following the opening prayer led by Rev. Father Boghos Baltayan, Mrs. Garine Joukadarian, Director of Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten, delivered a heartfelt speech where she expressed her profound appreciation for the dedication, attentiveness, and support of H.G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, towards the Prelacy Armenian Schools and Preschools, particularly in terms of providing spiritual, Armenian and humanitarian guidance and education to the new generation.
H.G. Bishop Donoyan praised and commended the innovative Christmas program presented by the children, which showcased joyful Christmas songs, recitations, performances, and religious hymns. H.G. Bishop Donoyan expressed his sincere gratitude to the administration, staff, and teachers at Levon and Hasmig Tavlian Armenian Preschool and Kindergarten, for their meticulous and significant efforts in organizing the Christmas program, and extended warm holiday greetings to both the children and adults.
