In the city of Hollywood, where a great number of the Armenian populous dwells, rised the beautiful Church in the middle of “Little Armenia”. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on March 6, 1977, and the building construction was completed by Christmas of 1978. The blessing and consecration took place on November 2, 1980 by His Holiness Karekin II of the Great House of Cilicia (later Karekin I, Catholicos of All Armenians).
