On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at noon, H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, welcomed longtime Western Prelacy benefactors Mr. and Mrs. Harout and Lena Soghomonian, who recently undertook the sponsorship of the beautifully illustrated commemorative volume dedicated to the sixth Pontifical Visit, in memory of their brother, national benefactor Hrayr Soghomonian.
During the visit, the Prelate shared a warm and cordial conversation with Mr. and Mrs. Soghomonian and commended their generous support of the Armenian Church and the Holy See of Cilicia in general, and of the programs and initiatives of the Western Prelacy in particular.
On this occasion, Archbishop Khacherian presented Mr. and Mrs. Soghomonian with the first copy of the newly published commemorative volume, which chronicles the most recent Pontifical Visit of His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia, to the Western Prelacy, which took place last year, from October 22 through November 10.
