On the occasion of the 45th Navasartian Games, organized by the Homentemen Western Region Executive, on Sunday, June 26, 2022, the “Victory Ball” was held at the “Beverly Hilton” Hotel in Beverly Hills. H. G. Bishop Torkom Donoyan, Prelate, attended the event, accompanied by Archpriest Fr. Razmig Khatchadourian.
The Prelate conducted the opening prayer, delivered the invocation and his well wishes and praised the activities and achievements of the Homenetmen, especially the Navasartian Games, which is organized annually and has been going on for 45 years with great success.
The Prelate commended also the 45th Navasartian’s Honorary Presidents Mr. & Mrs. Ara and Aline Tchaghlassian, as well as this year’s “Exemplary Member” Mr. Varant Melkonian for their dedicated service and valuable contributions to our national life.
The Prelate continued; “After a two-year break due to the pandemic, the Victory Ball once again fills hearths of all Armenians in our community with new hopes. The Homenetmen remains the most beloved organization for young Armenians from infancy to the old age.” Bishop Donoyan congratulated this year’s Navasartian Honorary President couple and the Exemplary Member, the Regional Executive, all organizers, supporters and contributors. At the end of his speech, he wished all the brothers and sisters of Homenetmen, students of Armenian schools, parents, relatives and benefactors a healthy and prosperous life and wished continued successes and new accomplishments for our most beloved Homenetmen.
